His books include “What I Learned at Apple” and “Companies Becoming Empires: Apple, McDonald’s, Exxon – The True Faces of Their New Rulers.” He worked as a senior manager at Apple’s U.S. headquarters until 2009 and has also given many lectures at universities and companies.

Learning English has allowed me to carve out my own world. If I hadn't learned English, I would never have even considered working as a manager at Apple headquarters or starting a business overseas. However, in Japan, students study English for six years in junior and senior high school, but still can't hold even simple conversations. I want to make a difference in the state of English education in Japan... With this in mind, I founded Brighture, a school that aims to provide the ideal English education.
