Yes. You can select a teacher each time you book a lesson. Your learning progress is shared among teachers, so you can switch instructors if you prefer.
The number of points needed to book a lesson can be different for each teacher. This is automatically calculated based on how often the teacher has been booked over the past few months and is updated from time to time.
The purpose of this system is to balance reservations, so more teachers are available and students have more chances to book lessons at convenient times.
Please note that point cost does not reflect a teacher’s quality. All Brighture teachers go through intensive training for each subject. You can feel confident taking lessons with any Brighture teacher, regardless of point cost.
You don’t need to buy any materials to take lessons. Commercial books and other resources recommended for self-study can be purchased at your discretion.
You can book lessons up to 1 hour before the start time.
You can make reservations up to 14 days in advance.
There is no limit to the number of lessons you can book.
You can cancel up to 3 hours before the lesson starts to receive a full point refund. If you cancel less than 3 hours before the lesson, the points will not be refunded.
Yes, RW (Reading and Writing), BW (Business Writing), and BC (Business Coaching) lessons include homework. Please make sure to complete it at least 3 hours before your next lesson, as it will be required to proceed.
Writing Correction
The Writing Correction Service is a text-based service where your English writing is reviewed and corrected through written feedback only.
Unlike RW (Reading and Writing) lessons, where corrections and explanations are done in real time during a 50-minute session with a teacher, the Writing Correction Service provides all corrections and explanations in written form only.
Each writing correction request costs 5 points.
